Trulli hopeful after Prost changes

(24-Jul-98) - Prost driver Jarno Trulli is confident that a new front
suspension fitted to his car for the first time in Friday's Austrian Grand
Prix practice could be the key to lifting the team's performance.

The Italian, who has seen his outfit fail to score a championship point so
far this year, ended the session in 11th place -- but less than one second
slower than the pace-setting McLaren of David Coulthard.

"My mechanics worked very fast and well to give the opportunity to go
on and use this modification," explained Trulli. "I really
believe that we have great potential with this."

Team boss Alain Prost added, "We've had a very good day of work,
something we had not achieved for a long time. It is the first time this
year that both drivers have been so satisfied with their cars and they seem
to be able to clock times which are close to the top ten."

"The cars have been better than at other circuits and the tyres have
performance very well here. We will do our best for qualifying -- let's
hope the weather stays as nice."
