Replying to a message of thinktank to All: t> Should I feed my older 15 year old dog senior dog food t> whenever possible? If you want. I don't think it will hurt the dog if you don't. It usedta was that there was only one kind of dog food. Probably 40 years ago Purina brought out 'Puppy Chow,' which is optimized for puppies as opposed to ordinary 'Dog Chow.' Of course, today you can get dog food optimized for puppies, optimized for adult dogs, and optimized for older dogs. Slightly different proportions of various vitamins and minerals. My dogs get 'Farm Dog,' which is made by Kent Feeds. They seem to be doing just fine on it. I don't know if it's available outside the 'farm belt.' ---* Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 712/0 313 848 @PATH: 300/3 116/901 3634/12 123/500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
