Well, I have seen it, and while there may be a few simularities, it
really isn't the same. E2 had a priest (Richard Burton!) who was a
former exorcist trying to help Linda Blair finally get rid of that
demon from the first movie. He has a trial of conscience, almost
looses his faith, lots of folks die, but he finally is helped by the
'real' Regan at the end...
No, not really the same at all.
