JM :>And boy, you can really tell Christmas is coming -- I just
JM :>got a holiday catalog from Tack in the Box, and one came
JM :>last week from Back in the Saddle, and I'm sure there are
JM :>more I'm forgetting about.
I just drool and drool, then file them in the "recycling" file! Some really
nice stuff out there, but the extras ain't in my Christmas budget (g). See
tons of things I'd love to get for my students, but will settle for something
smaller. Think I'll give them pictures of themselves at their last demo in
nice little horsey frames (if I can find some that aren't too costly!).
Glad to see you're keeping track of the horseworld still! I think you and
Richard should take a trip east, so I can get you up on Shiloh! Fid's still
lame...laminitis is gone, but we have residual bruising and maybe some
calcification along her sesamoid bone from what the vet thinks is a previous
injury. Trying this and that, but nothing seems to work. Did a Lyme test on
her the other day as well as a blood test for pituitary function...they're
staring to think that her weight problem may be organic...and might have been
a cause of the laminitis this spring. At this point, I'm just kinda dazedly
following the vet's and farrier's suggestions.....and not feeling really
confident with anything they have to say....verrrrry frustrating! Such a
nice little horse, and such a waste not to be able to keep her training
going. Ugh!
Don't you love the cover of the 20th Anniversary Equus? Nice graphic design!
