There are a few threads in the Fidonet POL_INC echo about this.  Do you 
get that echo?  If so, there's a thread called "The 666 Conspiracy"  
you've got to see.  There are four Fidonet moderators 
who use 666 in their Fidonet addresses.  All of them seem to have 
some kind of connection to the occult or "magick."  One of them is the 
moderator of Holysmoke.  Another one of them calls himself "Satan."
