Barbara, I'm the Sysop of the Bird Info Network. We are still here, plugging
away since 1990!
It's here almost 24 hours a day...shuts down for maintenance around 1:30 PM
and 3:30 AM, just for a little while.....then it's back up!
We definitely take 2400 baud. If you're having trouble getting thru, make
sure your communication program is set for 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, and no
parity. If you still have trouble connecting, try this phone number:
303-940-7350.
We also carry the Internet Newsgroup rec.pets.birds, as well as all OUR
message areas, Parrot Talk, Cockatiel Talk, Avian Medicine, Breeding &
Handfeeding, etc. AND the PARROTS fidonet echo.
Hope to see you check us out!
Oh, yeah, and you also have access to Internet e-mail. Extra special for bird
lovers is the fact that your internet address would be
barbara.howell@bird.com!
