The authors of Oregon Measure 5 claim to be a grassroots organization,
but they do not have a grassroots campaign. Millions are being funneled
into Oregon by out-of-state rich gun hating liberals like Andrew
McKelvey, CEO of the employment search firm TMP Worldwide(monster.com),
to pass this measure. If this measure is so innocuous, why all the OUT
OF STATE $$$? The truth is they want to outlaw private sales of
firearms.

One powerful tool Oregon gun owners have to fight back is the Oregon
Political Tax Deduction. Anyone can contribute up to $50 per person, or
$100 for couples filing jointly. This amount is taken directly off the
final tax you owe the State. So instead of giving the State the $50,
you can direct it to the only group actively fighting Measure 5: OFFPAC.
