-> I have to say something here. If a person advertises an item for sale
-> wanting bidders...do the SAP (self appointed police) of the echo have
-> jump in and tell the world that you know someone who's brother's cous
-> sister's mother in law paid $XXXXXXX of dollars for such an item X nu
-> of years ago?
->
-> You do nothing to set the true value of *ANY* item posted for sale or
-> bid in the echo, which is:
->
-> Any item is only as valuable as what someone will pay for it.
->
-> To post an unsubstantiated story that you saw one for sale for $XXXXX
-> dollars is a dis-service to the seller and the buyer. The only people

Hiya, Tom, let me just say this about that...When did your medication
run out ? :-)
Did you get burned on a " done deal " or are you a dealer,
PERIOD ? :-) I know I am, a dealer , that is... and when I quote a price
for someone it is BOOK PRICE or AVERAGE DEALER PRICE based on RESEARCH
and thirty years of knowledge, with a master's degree and a thriving
business to back it up. I've had more antiques pass before my eyes in a
week than you've had hot dinners. When an auction is listed on this
board it is a PUBLIC AUCTION and EVERYONE with a keyboard has the right
to respond as they see fit. Usually it is people trying to help other
people from getting cheated by the pros ( or CONS ) as the case may be.
If you've ever been to a real auction, you would find these computer
types " quaint ", so don't get all puffed up, or your apt to pop a
collar button... :-)
...I'm not only proud to be a member of the " price police ", as you
call them,but,if you must know, I AM CHIEF OF DETECTIVES...
