Once you figure it out, not a problem...but...even with what success I've 
had, I still question it and keep monitoring it.

Seeing information in the configurations that VModem doesn't recognize the 
normal arrangements in this set-up...the hang-up is a combination of 
matters...if I use ARGUS straight across, however, there isn't a problem.
But I agree...there has to be a means to pass the port over in a session, 
somehow, in order to pull off a Fido style BBS set-up...
