MSCDEX is only needed if you either have a legacy mode CD-ROM
or you are running in Ms-DOS mode
win 95 has it's own internal version of the drivers
and the dos-prompt in windows is a shell of windows 95 (which is a shell of
the real ms-dos)
but ms-dos mode needs mouse drivers and cd-rom drivers to be loaded into the
dosstart.bat file, which is in your win95 (\windows) directory
