1965 had omly seven hurricanes, according to my program's data file. The
most interesting one was named Carol, which formed off the western coast of
Africa, headed out into the mid-Atlantic, turned north, did a loop the loop
and headed back toward Africa, where it died out.

I didn't have an attic when Katrina hit. If I had, anything placed there
would have been crushed by falling 100+ foot pine trees. What a mess.

CS> Smart too. House flooded out. We lived inland Miami but it was still

CS> place that was a good 50feet over sealevel and we watched the eye pass
CS> over us.

Many years ago, my sister moved to Coral Gables, right outside of Miami and
not too far from the Orange Bowl. She has since moved into Miami and I
couldn't get her away from there no matter what I said to her. I visited
her a few years ago and was astonished to see that she's aging just like I
am. (-:
