BAR continue driver search

(21-Jul-98) - Craig Pollock was seen at the Molson Indy in Toronto talking
with Ric Moore, father and manager of CART star Greg.

Moore Senior later said that he had been discussing the weather with the
boss of British American Racing.

The 42-year-old was also seen entering Carl Haas' trailer, who runs Michael
Andretti and Christian Fittipaldi.

Villeneuve remains Pollock's favourite option and rumour suggests that the
Canadian will be the first to sign, possibly before this weekend's Austrian
Grand Prix.

The second seat is less clear. Pollock has mentioned a number of drivers in
connection with the drive including former Formula 1 World Champion Damon
Hill and former CART Champion Jimmy Vasser.

Highly rated Arrows driver Mika Salo has also been connected to BAR.

Pollock's trip to Toronto has also added Greg Moore, Michael Andretti and
Christian Fittipaldi.to the list of possible drivers.
