Erm... Next Generation, DATED???

cd :
cd :While I will start off by saying that as the eternal DS9 fan, I agree
cd :with you that DS9 is the so much better than either TNG and Voyager,
cd :you are going to be burned for saying TNG is on par with Voyager,
cd :which I will state right now isn't true.

She better didn't mean that, or else...

cd :
cd :TNG had actual and undeniable talent in front and, for the most part,
cd :behind the scenes. (This includes Wil Wheaton, who I feel really
cd :sorry for, because he is a really good actor. TNG destroyed his
cd :career.) Sure TNG had it's bad writing (who could forget the creation
cd :of Wesley Crusher?), but it was a gold standard. TNG holds almost all
cd :of "modern Trek's" gems, from "Inner Light" to "Best of Both Worlds".

I'm not sure that TNG "destroyed" Wheaton's career. Can you name a source?

cd :
cd :In contrast, Voyager seems to have mutilated Gene Roddenberry's
cd :original vision of the future like no other Trek series has, it's
cd :writing staff seems like it's on a permanent "TNG Season 2", with a
cd :few good episodes every once in a while (Come on, as awful as Season 2
cd :of TNG was, we still got "Measure of a Man" and "Elementary, DearData")

I have to agree... Season 2, and 1 as well, did not have any of my fave
episodes. "Shades of Grey" was not memorable.

cd :
cd :Outside a few computer effect flukes (like those green computer
cd :monitors back in Season 1), TNG has worn very well, due to it's

Really?? Which eps?

cd :extremely good writing, and I suspect DS9 will as well, for DS9
cd :enjoyed a lot of superior writing for most of its life (with
cd :exception to Seasons 5 and 6). Voyager won't enjoy this type of
cd :longetivity, and frankly, the ONLY reason there are as many people
cd :watching Voyager as there is, is because of the Star Trek license.
cd :If it weren't for that, you can bet your derri=E8re that it would've
cd :been cancelled long ago=20

I agree, it's so hypocritical how Paramount dictates what Star Trek games
can do but they allowed Braga and his cronies to butcher the name into
this Voyager juggernaut.
