Frentzen said headed for Prost-Peugeot

BONN (Jul 21, 1998 - 13:46 EDT) - Heinz-Harald Frentzen is set to leave
Williams at the end of the season for Prost-Peugeot, German racing magazine
Sport-Auto reported in its Friday edition.

Williams has told the 31-year-old German driver that if he is to stay he
will have to accept a salary drop from his current 3.3 million dollars a
year, Sport Auto said.

"Anyone hoping to win races over the next couple of years won't have
an easy task at Williams," retorted Frentzen, who has had an up and
down 18 months with the team.

Italy's Alex Zanardi is a possible replacement should the German move on,
Sport-Auto said.
