JW> Hi Liz. Good Lord, are there no Alaskans here?
There may not be any Alaskan residents although we have ex-Alaskans drop in
from time to time. We also have some souls from northern British Columbia
and some from Germany. We also had a Brit until he shut down his system
and also had a lot of Russians for awhile.
I took over moderation of this echo when Fidonet in Alaska shut down in
1998 and although Alaskans could still link through something like
DocsPlace, they must either not like the mechanics of a web-based BBS or
not like supplying the amount of information a BBS requires.
Incidentally, have the ise roads materialized? I was watching a show on
the diamond mines on the Discovery Channel t'other day and it reminded me
that ice roads are badly needed.
Take care,
