OUr church in NEw ORleans did the same thing back in 2002.
I would often stay after church to wash coffee cups.  The
adult bible study class used to all enjoy our coffee and
Krispy KReme doughnuts.  HEnce, we all kept coffee mugs at
the church.  I'm sure there are a couple still running
around there with Kathy's or my name on them in permanent
marker.  WE did it for two reasons:  Environmentally
friendly, and cost effective.
