I'll have a look at the database and see when that occurred.  If my eyes
are correctly following the lines, then I think the storm you speak of was
Irene in 1971, but it was a tropical storm and not a hurricane.  Either
type of them is dangerous.  65 knot sustained winds in a tropical storm are
a cause of concern for anyone.

You should try following the multi-colored lines on my data chart on the
names of the different storms.  (-:

Glad to hear.

The insurance investigator was out here inspecting the roof yesterday.  We
lost a wind turbine and a few shingles and as far as I can tell, that's
all.  The houses on the opposite side of the street weren't so fortunate. 
Odd, that.
