Are the in/outputs isolated with a capacitor?  You might be getting a
charge forming on it which is then routed into your signal path when the
relay operates...  Try placing a 47K ohm ( or thereabouts - 10K through
1 Meg would be fine! ) from the input to ground and from the output to
ground.
