That may be so with IE, but I've never found that to be so with Firefox. I
have one complaint about Firefox and that is, when you want to do a Google
search and there's a previous search word in the window, when you click on
it to drop in the new search word, the previous search word is copied to
the clipboard and is then placed in the search window and doubled up,
after the previous search word. i.e. you lose the new search word.
