BL> I love the image of two small Chinese running down the street BL> with a 2-metre dish, or a bikie in a pub: Wanna buy a hot dish? JB> it happens... I heard of some peole getting caught nicking JB> satellitte dishes.. dunno what they were doing with them... JB> they were for Ku band which AFAIK only one australian satellite JB> uses and AFAIK all the propviders they rent the equipment to JB> the subscribers... There's nearly as many dishes as cable connections, around Concord. I'd estimate 1/10 dishes and 1/5 cable. I was tempted to nick a dish, myself. The builders had knocked the whole house down, and just thrown the dish (and preamp/tx) in the skip with the rest. I was tempted... but couldn't think of a use for it.
