Excuse me but this kid did the world a huge favor.

The sasser worm exploits the LSASS vuln discovered by eeye, this is a major
remote anonymous root level exploit (a buffer overflow in a logging
function) that microsoft took 188 days to patch.

This isn't a worm, it's a watchdog that is forcing everyone to update or
die. You people don't seem to grasp the seriousness of a remote anonymous
backdoor into 95% of the worlds computers. A backdoor that is within the
Local Security Authority of windows.

I mean come on, this is one of those priority one bugs but it took MS half
a year to get around to patching it, and it's the kind of exploitable bug
that took this kid all of 15 days to code up a worm that exploits it?

Why are they trying to make an example out of this kid, they should be
making the example out of Microsoft for the shit for brains way they
treated this vuln. This is the kind of bug that has handed so many home
computers over to the spammers.
