Fina might enter F1

(25-Jul-98) - Fuel company Fina is considering to enter Formula One in the
year 2000. It will be the first time for the Belgium company they get
involved in Formula One.

Fina is widely involved in other areas of motorsports like lower formula
series, touringcar series and GT racing. Fina is said to be persuaded by
BMW who also (re-)enters Formula One in the year 2000 as an engine supplier
for Williams. BMW and Fina have been long time partners is many areas of
motorsport. Fina will therefore likely become the fuel supplier for
Williams.
