Todt predicts tough race (11-Jul-98) - Ferrari sporting director Jean Todt is under no illusions that the British Grand Prix will be a tough race for the Ferrari team - despite seeing Michael Schumacher qualify on the front-row. The Frenchman, who has resurrected the Italian outfit's fortunes since joining them five years ago, claims he will be happy if Schumacher and Eddie Irvine just get points for the constructors' world championship. "We can be satisfied with Michael on the front row and Eddie in fifth place," he said. "In these conditions it should be a hard-fought race tomorrow. We knew that Silverstone would be difficult for us and therefore we can be pleased with today's performance." "Tomorrow will be a hard race and we will try and get the maximum number of points in both championships." --- Msged/386 4.20 beta 4* Origin: Blizzard of Ozz, Melbourne, Australia (3:635/728.4{at}fidonet) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 633/267 |
