No, not at all. Absolutely not.

The flag was raised over the dome in 1964 as part of the Civil War
centennial...all Southern states were asked to that. The SC House and
Senate were Democratically controlled and the govenor was a Democrat and
they agreed to do this.

It's easy to rewrite history after the fact by the "victors."
