"I got lost coming to the white flag off turn four. I lost my speed for the
second lap. We had a good car. I just got loose and lost the speed. I think
we could have been faster if we could have got a clean lap. Hopefully that
will put us in the top 15, and we'll get a good run in on Sunday."

"This is as brand new car, and we wanted to get in a top 10 qualifying
effort. I think we could have been faster, but we had some problems with the
carburetor on the qualifying lap. The car was good, but as soon as I got back
in the gas it stumbled really bad. The car is faster than what we've had, so
we'll see what it does Sunday."
