Mostly I remember the year as 65/66 with so many hurricanes. Susie, Alicia,
Cecilia, betsy all come to mind but one of those at least was before my
memory and one my Mom used to mention.

Mom stuffed a bunch of stuff in the attic crawlspace too. I mostly remember
her new Rambler Station wagon barely had room for us kids when we evacuated
to high ground. It was loaded with irreplacable family historical records
and antique silver. I got to sit with the Sonja Henny doll on my lap and
carefully play with her.

Smart too. House flooded out. We lived inland Miami but it was still bad
there. Pretty much 10 feet over sea level? Mom took us to a friend's place
that was a good 50feet over sealevel and we watched the eye pass over us.
