Ypur piece of mind about your horse is obviously most important to you.. so
while I can't tell you what to do, I personally would not be happy with this
kind of thing... and it really also depends on the contract you've signed
with the trainers for both boarding and training.
There's vast differences in the way people do things Erica.

If you want to stay there, then I'd suggest that you arrange an addendum to
any boarding agreement you have with these people stating that you wish to be
informed immediately should your horse become sick or show signs of illness.
You might want to get it notarized.
