An Exxon station I passed twice yesterday had the first digit missing.  All
you can see is the " .89".  (-:

That situation is at just about all of the service stations here.  I'm sure
if I complained, most would say their numbers went missing due to the
hurricane and they're waiting for some replacements to arrive.
