Schumacher re-signs with Ferrari

(17-Jul-98) - Ferrari has announced that Michael Schumacher has signed a
contract to remain with the team until the end of the 2002 season.

The official announcement from Ferrari comes after weeks of speculation and
rumours surrounding the German's future.

Comments from Schumacher over last weekend's British Grand Prix suggested
that the double World Champion would stay with the Italian team.

His contract also includes a role as an "ambassador" of the Fiat
trade mark.
