Every time I read a news report like the following, I am reminded of how the
Book of Revelation informs us that at the Lord's Return, every island shall
flee away. How can they flee away, unless it means that they are overcome by
the ocean and sink beneath the waves? Will this be a result of tsunamis
which are generated by great earthquakes of the Endtime? After all, as we
know, the Bible also informs us that the Endtime will be marked by such
earthquakes. Another possibility which makes a lot of sense, is that the
islands will disappear due to rising ocean levels, as a result of Global
Warming. Consider these verses:

"And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every
mountain and island were moved out of their places."
Revelation 6:14, KJV

"And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found."
Revelation 16:20, KJV

"Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and
for the glory of his majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and
the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be
exalted in that day. For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every
one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he
shall be brought low: And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and
lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, And upon all the high mountains,
and upon all the hills that are lifted up, And upon every high tower, and
upon every fenced wall, And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all
pleasant pictures. And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the
haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in
that day. And the idols he shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the
holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD,

her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce

earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall
