SHort term profits at the expense of their future.  Lots of
little people getting hurt bad though, such as the
aforementioned trucker.
A person might be surprised how much of what he buys and
uses depends on the independent truckers.  sEen that
industry from both sides.  My dad spent most of my school
years as a union driver, but he did the other bit for awhile too.
