The barn I board my horse at (one of them, the rest are at home)
is run by an Olympian and her International Calibre husband. I haven't
been up there in a while and, I just found out recently that he had
coliced REALLY bad last week. A friend from the barn told me and, the
people who run the barn never called me. I want to stay there because
the coaching is so good but, after that incident, I don't knw what I
should do. I love the other boarders up there too. I am thinking of
bringing him home and trailering up there for lessons and during the
winter go to a different barn that may not be as good. Does this sound
reasonable to any one??? An incident like this happened before and, it
was a friends horse who broke his leg and she didn't find out until 2
days later when she went up to ride him. Any suggestions as to what I
should do? This horse has Olympic potential as well as I. I just don't
think that this was a fair and wise decision to make about not calling
me. PLEASE HELP!!!
Sincerly,
ERICA
