Some BBSs support ansi in messages quite well. They all take diffent approaches
to adding color, ansi or pipe codes are the most used ways and there are others
also.

If your interface doesn't support that it will look terrible. I normally use
golded or a like editor to read and reply so I have no support for color in
messages.
