P.S.>  I've often observed that those whose addictive tendencies are 
expressed in more socially acceptable ways (Coffee, FOOD  - one I can't
kick - or unhealthy relationships ) often can be quite scornful of 
those whose addictions are expressed in less socially acceptable ways 
such as drugs, booze, gambling, etc.
