Note also that it is only the "general availability" support that
ends December 2006. Users with support contracts in place (such as some
large companies and Serenity Systems, the supplier of eComStation) will
continue to receive support after that date. SSI contract to other
companies such as Innotek to provide ports of products and device drivers
for new hardware.
So I plan to use OS/2 for a few more years yet, by which time Linux will
hopefully have evolved into a worthy replacement.
