  The part I like is the way the same people who told me I ought to
get married when I was thirty, now come around and admit I was right;
now that their kids have grown up punched them in the head and left;
now they're stuck with a wife they don't like very much and with whom
they have bugger-all in common after the kids have gone. ROFL!!

  Among this vast majority I know just one couple who *really* like
each other after 30 years and three others happy enough... who can't
see a better alternative. I assume I know 100 people so we are talking
around 10% successful marriages and 70% who would rather be free and
somewhere else like me, and 20% actually divorced. ROFL!

  Oh! And I've just realised something really funny. You can add to
the happy couples my poofter cousin and his "wife". ROFL!
