I just read this evening in Rodale's Scuba Diving magazine, about an article
were the Zero Gravity Diving Center (Bill Demmons, 1-207-773-3483) of South
Portland is working paraplegics, quadriplegics, victims of multiple sclerosis
and cerebral palasy, and visually impaired students to get them certified.
And get this, the article says the program is free of charge.
I personally have some disagreements when dealing with the blind handicaps,
but if someone is willing to work with these people and they want to spend
the money to properly and safely modify the equipment, i'll point folks in
that direction.
