LAH> Good luck with them. I've been making some clothespin angels (first
LAH> time I've made these) and I figured that 2 or 3 to each teacher and bus
LAH> driver and anyone else I'd like to give a small present to, would be
LAH> perfect. I plan to write on the clothespin, under the skirt, the year
LAH> and who it was from. This way, the person (years down the road) would
LAH> be able to tell how long they had it and who it was from. :-)
Those are fun! I have patterns for the Christmas
Clothespin
Angels by Leisure Arts which really can be used for anytime. I did get
bigger
heads for the clothespins and made larger halos, but they all turned out
cute.
Did one of your patterns (number 1 in my book) have a trim that looped up
into
the dress? I thought that was the neatest thing and started trimming some of
my doilies and shell edgings with that in off colors....its very striking.
We recently moved into a new house that we had been
building
all summer and I've got projects going for every room. Fortunately, my
dearest darling mom has already come down for a visit and is back up in
Tennessee with her crochet needle flying! She did bring me two very cute
afghans....one is a pair of angels in filet mesh (too pretty to even
describe)
and the other is a 'Cat in the Window' lap/ghan that is cute. Let me know
if
you are looking for any patterns like these...we've been gathering angels and
cats for some time.
