Din't think I'd ever do it but I just inherited 14+ macs
and am trying to get them off the appletalk phone wire and
onto our ethernet. The power macs were a breeze with
system 7.6.1 but the older machines with older systems have
that MAC/TCP with the reverse-polish-notation method of
entering the addresses ... that also reverts to a class B
every time I get it entered as a C class.
Anyway I'm hopeing I can put system 7.6 on everything to
get a better stack and configuration on the following
computers?
Powerbook 5300, powerbook 180, powerbook 165, centris 610,
quadra ?, LCIII and a IIsi.
Also we don't have a ZONE definded of our own so we default
to an existing one on another campus. Any idea how ZONE's
are configured and where? (router?)
