I am on AOL for the last three months now, and was scared at first when I got
the first billing. I thought they charged me for my 50 free hours too, but
was told that they charge you your ONLINE price for 1 month in advance, so in
reality OCTOBER was indeed free, and NOVEMBER was charged on NOVEMBER 5.
Most people don't realize they get charged ahead of time...and to answer any
questions about how do they tack on more charges...IF you go over your time
(not the unlimited) then you will have an additional charge at your next
billing.
Hope this helps, and clears up a few things.
