subject: Unpacking insecure arcmail

Hello Tommi!

KR>> Why do you want to open your system to mailbombs?

TK> Because I have done it since 1992 and I have never got any mail bombs.

Oh, don't tell anybody. ;)

KR>> The "fault" is on the other side, insecure netmail
should not be
 KR>> packed.

TK> Maybe so. But anyway I want to process all mail, not only unarchived
 TK> mail.

Ok, you have been warned. :)
(My humble opinion: You fix the symtoms on your side, but the source is
still broken and cause trouble to other nodes. You could use your
supermoose NC power to support the source to fix his problem. Sorry for
thinking loud.)

TK> Ok, if it really cannot be done with hpt, I can do it other ways.
 TKg>

Maybe i don't know the advanced unsecure features.

My first idea is to get rid off the unsecure inbound by telling your mailer
to save all unprotected-inbound to the protected inbound path.

Kai
