What do you mean with you don't have a long distance carrier?
Can't you make a long distance call?
If not, is it something that is available but you don't want to pay for?

Do you know if the American telephone book is available on Internet.
If it is, could I search for Roger Nelson in California and find you?
Or Steven Horn in Whitehorse?
