Well the term "play" with a horse can be very deceptive to someone that
doesn't know any better.
In most cases it's really not wise to actually "play" with horses since it
may well change the way they look at you in the heirarchy and can possibly be
dangerous. I've also seen one to many youngins ruined by people that played
with them.
Both Tush and CJ have a "cue" when it's time to really play. They are also
very aware and/or reminded if they cross the line. The know full well when
the "play" time is over.

You hip should be in line with her leg when you're cleaned a front hoof.. it
should be no where near their face. It also is safer in case this way in case
the horse does something unexpected.

If the horse ever makes contact with your body with her teeth, you need to
over react for 3 seconds immediately after it happens.. in other words left
her know beyond a shadow of a doubt that was unacceptable including hitting
her (except in the face or neck). after the 3 seconds, stop and go back to
what you were doing as if nothing happened.
