No it won't. All you'll have is two dim bulbs. There is no way
you can connect 12v bulbs to illuminate correctly at half voltage.
Maybe the whole *circuit* will draw the 6 amps, but each bulb
will still be at half voltage. You can run two six volt bulbs
in series from 12 volts. But you cannot parallel two 12 volt
bulbs from a six volt source and get what you want.
I suppose the best way to prove it is to actually do it.
