I have a Pentium 166MMX 16 Meg ram running PC-Dos 7 and 3.11 WFW with VGA 
monitor and a 486 DX4/100 8 Meg ram running PC-Dos 7 and MS-Dos Client with 
EGA monitor.
Both machines have 3com 3C509-TP cards in them and I am sure they work 
because I have used the Echo server facility that comes with the software to 
test them in both directions.
I cannot see any drive on the Pentium from the 486, the 486 appears to be 
talking to the Pentium because when I use th POPUP to browse evening though I 
get nothing back it will wake the Pentium up out of sleep mode.
Have I missed something obvious or just simply dont know how to use it.
The txt file with Client mentions a need to create a browse master on the WFW 
comp can some one tell me what this is and how to do it.
Last one guys, does Win 3.11 WFW work on EGA.
Another VGA monitor and Win 95 is next on the to buy list).
