G'day Poe, PL>> A simpler way is to use an occlusal splint and see how PL>> quickly that wears, but that only shows that it is present. PL> VC>> What is "an occlusal splint"? PL> PL> An acylic device which is usually fitted to the top teeth, covering PL> all the chewing surfaces, and is adjusted so that all the teeth PL> (usually bottom if it is an upper splint) are touching it at the PL> same time when you bite down, but the only front teeth touch when PL> you grind your teeth. If I'd of had one of those when I was in USA for eight months, it woulda been worn away to shreds. I found I often had to pry my teeth apart, I'd ground them so hard. The only time I have anything even similar to that now is when sneezing. Cheers, Gaelyne ... QWKRR128 V5.0B [F] --- QWK Mail / Lora v2.40b2+* Origin: Whinging pigs and flying techs, oh my!!
