Very day when I get home from work I "play/mess" with her -- and, she
KNOWS it's "her" time too . She gets rinsed off daily ...... then we
"talk", scratch etc. Not only good for her -- but good theraphy for ME too
>> shouldn't hurt ..... she KNOWS it's wrong to snap, snap as after I yell

I thought we had it conquered (more or less) .... then yesterday I was
cleaning out her feet -- she was really being good -- until she snapped .....
my behind got in the way (I was cleaning out her left front hoof) and the
rest is history. I don't think she really meant to nip me .... I think she
was snapping in her usual manner and my backside was too close. I SHOULD
have had her on the cross tie but didn't ..... she got a good POP on her
shoulder and she after that she didn't even offer to turn her head again that
afternoon, nor did she snap, snap, snappy anymore either.

I really think she wants to please me ..... she's a very aimniable (sp)
horse.

This is true ....... except for the "snappy" thing she really is nice
...... close to perfect . She's a wonderful carriage horse ..... soon as
she gets the harness stuff on she's calm as a cucumber and it's like she's
saying "I know this and I know what I'm suppose to do, AND, I'm GOOD at it"
Again ...... thanks for the advise.
