 Paul,
 I hate to burst your bubble, but, many of the adults you're writing to,
 myself included, were alcoholic teenagers who grew into alcoholic adults.
 For the alcoholic, or addict, there is no "just saying no," once they've
 started.  which doesn't mean they're off the hook.  Just be aware that 
 alcoholism and addiction are diseases.  IT's not a matter of willpower.
 No recovery program that has ever worked was based on willpower.
