(apologies for butting into an argment that has been going on here for
years and all of which I have not followed)

There is also Biblical evidence that God kills those who are saved who
sin too much (those in the church who have "fallen asleep" due to their
behaviors, like in Corinthians), which would imply that their spirits
are saved despite their bodies.
