Alesi boosts Sauber

(10-Jul-98) - Jean Alesi was upbeat with twelfth place in free practice for
Sunday's British Grand Prix.

"Today we had to work with a different setup to the one that we worked
out at the test last week," he explained. "Our situation with
Goodyear is very good because they are working so hard to improve the tyres
the whole time."

"The flipside is that we only get the latest rubber at the race
weekend, so we have to relearn how to setup the cars to make the most of
it. That was what we concentrated on today."
